Tea from a Samovar, recorded in Moscow in December 2016, is an album of Iranian folk melodies performed on Russian folk instruments. Russia's celebrated Quartet Skaz performs arrangements by Kayvan Sadra for the domra, balalaika, alto domra, and bass balalaika. The jewel case contains a 12-page insert in Persian, Russian, and English, including credits and a map of Iran indicating the birthplace of each melody.
